Strawberry Picking

This morning after seminary I decided it was a great time to go get some farm fresh strawberries. So I enlisted some help and on our way we went. A 4o min. drive to Mt. Pleasent and we arrive at our destination. The Belle Hall plantation Farms. The strawberries took on some damamge in the last hail storm so they were 1.29 lb. We picked 4.00$ worth.

Our Lilacs just barely started blooming! We are so late this year - we may not have strawberries until September!! AHHHHHH!

What a coincidence, on Memorial day we went to an orchard and picked peaches and blackberries. So, today I have been making freezer jam and blackberry crisp. I hope you enjoy your strawberries, they look very yummy.

Wow we don't have peaches yet. We are suppose to have blueberries and green beans in a few weeks though. I am hoping to go pick blueberries.
