Swim Meet at the Summerville" Y".

I had a great evening watching Abbie swim. She has won 8 blue ribbons so far this summer. Tonight she won another Blue Ribbon, she is very fast and loves to be in the water!!!

The Vanilla Theory

Sister Stubbs told the story of an old woman who always had Vanilla ice cream. One day she was asked why she didn't like any other ice cream, and had she ever even tried any other flavors. She replied " No never why would I do that when I love Vanilla". 

 

The point she made was how can you know if you really love Vanilla if it is the only flavor you have ever tasted.  She compared that to exclusive dating while in high school and told the girls this is why we encourage them to go on group dates until they are out of high school.

Here is my second try at the Short & Sassy bag! I love this combo. I found the polka dot fabric at Walmart.

My crochet project this week. I purchased these flipflops at the Dollar Store and the fun yarn at Tuesday Morning!

My day at Charleston Stake Girls Camp 2009

This year girls camp was held at The Peoples Barn in Sumerton, SC! I drove up on Wed. morning and helped transport our girls to Santee State Park. They hiked and then had free time to play in the lake.

I did not take pictures of the seedlings but they are growing very well and I planted 2 cherry tomato plants in pots as well.
