"Wicked"

A few months ago I was asked if I would be interested in going on a weekend trip to see the Musical "Wicked" with a group of girl's from church. I definitely was and thought Jacquie would be too! So we left for Atlanta on Halloween and after a 5 hr. drive stayed the night at a very nice Hyatt place in Lithonia, Georgia about 30min. outside of Atlanta. We arrived early at the Fox theater in Atlanta, so we could get some pictures and look around the famous theater.

At 11:00pm we finally were ordering dinner at Ruby Tuesday's.

Jacquie is ready with her ticket, our seats are in orch left row kk!

The Fox Theater is a fully restored 1929 "Movie Palace". It seats 4,678 and you can catch a broadway show, the ballet, symphony, concerts and movies there. I heard a rumor that the debut of "Gone with the wind" was shown here.

Wow! That is so exciting. I really want to see that show! I'm only 5 hours from Atlanta too! I'm glad you had a great time.

I made Derek go with me last month! We saw it in Hollywood. I really enjoyed it. Derek thought it was o.k. He had to see Mama Mia on Broadway the week before. His New York group made him go. He was "showed out". I am glad you two got to go. How was Atlanta? I bet it has changed a lot since we went there for the temple.
