April

April flew by with Easter a family reunion and a birthday.

I didn't do as well keeping up with my photo themes for the week this month.

The Kitchen (outdoor)

We enjoyed visiting with everyone at the Wheeler/Martineau family reunion in Utah.

Spring has marched right in...

This has been a great month! I have had some great opportunities to practice shooting photo's.

I have also decided to add a Creative Commons license to our blog. That means that you may still lift the pictures here, the only thing that has changed is they may not be used for commercial purposes without consent from the photographer. If you are posting to your personal blog please link back or give credit to the photographer.

On to the themes for the month.

Week 10 - Depth of field

These were my favorites and the one above I submitted to Project 52.

Week 11- Spring
This one was from the Flower Town Run.

Week 12 - Planes, Trains & Automobiles

Week 13 - Playing with Light

I took a bunch of pictures at the beach, it was a beautiful day!

This is the one I chose to submit.

Here is my favorite from the day

The sky was brilliant blue

I also entered a few in Floral Friday

Wishing everyone a very Happy Spring and a wonderful Easter.

Flower Town Run

I had the opportunity to go and cheer on some friends and shoot some photo's.

You are welcome to copy any of them for your own personal use. If you intend to put them up on your own blog please refer back to this blog. Thank you

Photography for weeks 6-9

February has gone by so quickly for me. I found that I was barely getting my pictures done in time. I did however get them done and I also had the chance to shoot a few with another photographer. That was fun and I hope to be able to do it again. Let me know if you are interested in getting together.

Theme: Signs

Taken at the cabin we stayed in for the YCL Sleepover.

Theme: Shadows

Father and Son Shadow

Theme: Other Photographers

Taken in Fort Dorchester State Park.

A lot of history here, I would like to go back some time soon.

Theme: Workplace

I used my new Oben tripod with Ballhead to take this one.

Hope you are enjoying this nice mild winter and had a lovely Valentine day!

A Brand New App coming to an iphone near you!

Be one of the first to get this awesome new App!

What is it you say?

It is an awesome app for keeping track of the goals you set last month or last year;)

It is called Key Indicators and I had the opportunity to test it for the last 2 months.

It really helped me get ready for my first 5K. It is also helping me to become a more educated photographer and read my scriptures every day. It not only helps you to do more, it can help you in areas that you want to do less! Like changing a bad habit!

So here are some screen shots and please give it a try, it will help a wonderful collage student (A's) get thru school!
