Time to learn or re-learn something new!

So as you can see from my last post I have been admiring those cute Crochet hats. Really I have been admiring a lot of handmade things, I guess maybe it is because we had about 2 weeks with lower than normal temps and we were having to wear outer wear to keep warm. That is very unusual here in Summerville. I am happy to say that it is very nice today:)

I learned how to Crochet in grade school, but only a few stitches, so I began to search the web for some guidance (lessons). There are a lot of pages out there!!! Here is one that I found with a lot of helps. I purchased a few hooks, they are not to expensive(2-3$) at Walmart or Hancocks. I already had yarn so I was ready to go.

Here are a few flowers I have learned to make from patterns on the web.

The patterns can be found here and here.

Make sure that if you have not crocheted before or in a long time, that you have more then an hour to spend on learning and experimenting on your project. Most of all enjoy the creative process!!!

So sorry you didn’t win the contest on my blog this week at Not Entirely British.

Thanks for taking part. Hope you will enter again soon. This week’s prize book is well worth winning.

Looks good!
Now I don't have to learn how to crochet. I can just buy the stuff you make.
