The saying "In like a lamb out like a lion" seems to be holding true here in summerville.About 1:00pm the clouds got dark and heavy and it began to rain.
Around 2:00pm Nick decided to see if he could capture the sights and sounds on DVD.
This is our driveway looking from the partially opened pedestrian door from the garage. when the storms came through it cooled down about 10 degrees. The showers continued until about 5:00pm.

I love fast hard storms like that. I would much rather have that then drizzle all day long. We had one come through a few weeks ago and it pretty much flattened our garden. I guess we won't get any corn this year.
I'm a fan of the strong storm too--reminds me of living in Florida.
Ahhhh... I love the Rain, especially the smell after it rains!

Was it a hurricane or just a storm! We don't hear that much about your hurricanes unless it is a really big one! We don't even have earthquakes - We just have really cool summers! Can't wait to see you guys!!!!!!
