Exploring the Low Country!

Today Jacquie had the day off from work and the rest of us kept our calenders free so we could do something fun! We decided as a family that it would be fun to take Ben and Jacquie to see a few of the sights they have not seen yet. So we got up early and headed south on Hwy 17. The first stop was Hunting Island State Park.

Next stop Hilton Head Island! These Red Rockers in Harbour Town are very relaxing on a balmy South Carolina afternoon. We had a scoop of Ice Cream and then enjoyed a few minutes watching people as they strolled by.

We had a Flip Flop and Rock day together! Let's do it again soon!

Hilton Head

To day we enjoyed the morning in Hilton Head. The beach was beautiful. It was a balmy 60 degrees and there were a few wispy clouds. We explored an area that is called Sea Pines you pay a fee of 5.00$ to get in. There are all kinds of places you can stay and shop and eat within the area. We drove to Harbour town where the light house is and climbed the stairs to the top. The view is of Calibogue Sound and the Harbour Town Golf course. A golfers heaven we watched players play a hole next to the water. There is a Spa, Marina, Stable, Bike shop and lots of trails for biking,Walking or Running. For those of you who enjoy tennis it's there too! We were thinking what a great place for a Reunion!
