Time to keep our eye on the weather!

For those who live in the East, South or South East the end of Summer and Fall become a time to really watch the weather. Some watch the news others check the weather channel and those who are surfers watch all three plus the online reports. So we are watching Hurricane Earl right now as it is out in the Atlantic as a Cat 3 Hurricane with the possibility of becoming a catagory 4 by days end. It is near the US Virgin islands today.  It is sure to bring some waves as soon as Thur and looks like it will miss us and make land fall farther north, but only time will tell for sure. Little less wisdom!

Had my two upper wisdom teeth removed yesterday, all went well. Although coming out of sedation was really rough and my face has seen better day's. I will be back next week with an update!

Thursday Update

A lot happened in my sewing room this past week!

Finished my skirt and like how it turned out!

Love these little felt booties they were so much fun to make! If you would like the pattern let me know in the comments and leave me your e-mail.

I had a pillow that was looking rather worn so I decided to take it apart and make a couple new covers out of some fabric I had in my stash.

I don't think I like sewing the cording on

 too much.

 And I managed to get my July block pieces cut out. I think the block is very patriotic don't you?

Thursday Update

I did manage to get my skirt started but it is not quite finished yet.

 We helped the kids get their room painted and some belongings moved yesterday while celebrating our Anniversary!

A bed for my sewing room since they have their own furniture!
