I won, I entered the giveaway at Sew Inspired for this bag and an unknown fabric to make a bag and give it away.

So... I'm going to give the bag that I sew (from the red white and blue) away to a lucky commenter here, along with fabric,  from my stash to make another fabric bag for the winner to give away. (Pattern included)

Now for the News you have all been waiting for! O.K. maybe not the news, but it is very exciting for me to tell you that...

I finished hand sewing the binding on my quilt Monday night!

Here it is after being washed and dried.

It's kind of wonky and poofy, but I like it any way! Maybe thats because I have spent so much time with it over the last few months.

Also finished the scarf for Nick and have started another along with a skirt.

This is a really simple skirt by Simplicity.  I found this fabric at Hancocks for $.89 a yard so if I mess this up I won't feel so bad. I will post more info Next week with the finished product unless I make a royal mess of it.
