Thursday Update

It's the end of summer and I have one project that i have been working on here and there. I have been seeing this on blogs lately and have been wanting to do one. It took me awhile to find the old windows and then they did not look the way I had imagined them. They had nasty paint colors on them. So I would go out to the garage and try to sand, but it was just way too hot until about a week ago.  I like how this one is turning out. I have another matching one that is in the process of being sanded.

I want them to display all the fun things we do together with family each year. I think I will change the pictures around at the end of each summer to enjoy all winter long! I will have a total of 12 spaces. I will share the finished project after it is hung.

Tuesday Update & Second giveaway!

Fabric Flowers made using this Tutorial by my friend Jessica! I made mine using some
 left over flannel.

This bag just needs a button and it is complete. You can get the free pattern from one of my favorite blogs here!

This is the fall craft that I was working on in the previous post. I plan on changing the frame content each month and then at the end of a year I will have 12 blocks and can make a quilt. We will see how well I do. This is an Applique on a 10 inch square with a 2 inch border. Not too hard really, if you try it let me know so I can see yours!

I have two items that will be given away. If you are interested in either let me know by leaving a comment and let me know which one or if both you would like to be entered in. The drawing will be held next Monday evening(Nov 17) and will be posted on Tuesday(Nov 18)! Best of luck!! Oh and one more thing, I can only mail within the United States.

The first item in the drawing is this cute Short & Sassy bag that has been gently used by myself. I love this pattern and have made several of these and so I am giving you a chance to enjoy it too. It is clean and ready to be mailed. Rebeka Lambert is the designer of the Short & Sassy pattern and you can purchase it from her Etsy shop and create your own version of this bag!

Tuesday Update

Nothing new on the crafty side this week! It has been a week of moving and cleaning!! Darren also decided to remove some overgrown bushes out front and get our yard ready for fall. We still have a ways to go but it is a work in progress. My cherry tomatoes have started to ripen and are so yummy!!

I have to say I was really not liking the whole idea of pulling the whole bush out root and all with the truck!!!

These two are hard workers I tell ya!
