Thursday Update

I have finally done a bit of sewing!
As you know our Missionary is coming home.
That meant I needed to move all my sewing supplies out of his room.
Here is his bed with two new pillows sewn just for him;)

I didn't make the quilt, shame on me.
This was my first try at a neck roll pillow, I thought it was easy and plan to make more in the future.
Don't you just love making matching buttons!
I made a square pillow with one side textured and one side smooth, that way both sides are useful.
There are only 5 more sleeps until this bed will be unmade!

Fresh Paint

Sorry this picture turned out very dark.
This is where the bed will go as soon as we can find one that matches the 2 pieces of furniture we have.
This is the new and improved built in area where I can sew!
We have a ways to go, we want to hang the thread holder up and have a magnetic strip to store scissors and other such items while being used. I have a few pictures to go up on the walls. We need to put this project on hold for a few days while we go to Cali for Grandma Bagley's funeral.

A lot of work on a room transformation!

The last boxes going to storage until Nick returns in 1 year 11 months and 2 weeks. Who's counting though! Kirra is helping of course.

After Darren removed the computer shelf . Those boy's sure did like to put their feet on the wall!! That will have to be painted!
The bunk bed ready to go down to the garage.
Rusty checking out the new cabinets. Always the Job Superintendent!

DeWalt Darren's choice in cordless power tools!
After removing the shoe molding.
Cabinets in, top back on, shoe molding back up!
Excuse us while we take a little brake and play catch! Ben and Jacquie came by. Ben helped Darren bring the Elliptical upstairs.
Spackling the holes and using a primer sealer on all those dirty feet stains!

The room is ready for painting and I am heading to the stake center for a Young Women's meeting so come back for the final pic's on Monday!
