The Johnson Family is getting a new member!

We are expecting our first Grandbaby, Ben & Jacquie are expecting their first baby.
They are very excited as are we! We are expecting baby J's arrival sometime at the end of November.
We have been talking about what we will be called by this little one and it has not been decided yet. We are so very grateful that Jacquie and baby J (what we are saying until we know the gender) are doing very well!

Black Friday???

So what is it with calling the day after Thanksgiving BLACK FRIDAY?  Why don't they call it Yellow friday or Brown friday or even Green friday? Here is what Wikipedia has to say about it.
Here is what we did instead of shopping!!!

We enjoyed the 1/4 mile walk out to the beach with the Morris Head Lighthouse in the distance.

James didn't think the water was nearly as cold as the Oregon Coast!

We could not let James go back to WV without tasting some local seafood.
We ate Lunch at Vickery's on Shem Creek!

On our way thru Charleston we had to stop while Engine #102 backed into the Firehouse! If you look really close you will see the time and outside temp.

We also drove over to the River Dog's Stadium so that James could see where they play.
