Independence Day Weekend 2011

Bennett is now 7 months old and he loves to knock over block towers! He enjoys trying to balance while standing up and he loves to watch his favorite video with "Old Mac Donald" on it!
We started our Independence Day at a yummy Pancake Breakfast and then out to the Gahagan Ball Fields for some Softball!

We hung out at home and enjoyed some yummy grilled burgers and a firework display by Darren!

 We are so very glad they came so we could hang out at the beach with them for a few day's!

The weather was nice and hot although a bit windy.

Ben challenged Zachary to build a tower taller then himself and then they let Bennett knock it over!

We don't know this kite surfer personally but he was just picturesque so...

Was thinking he might like to eat the sand while mommy surfed.

There was a lot of smoke blowing in from some fires burning on the border of Florida and Georgia.

Looks like fog but it's not.

Thursday Update

This past week I was able to attend the Charleston, SC. Stake Young Women's Girls Camp in the beautiful Mountains on the border of North & South Carolina. These are some pictures of the girls working on the service project they did tying baby quilts. A total of 40 were made and they will go to families who are serving in the armed forces with new babies.

Elder Johnson's Return Papers arrived.

We received Nick's release papers in the mail. He is coming home on Tue. October 4 2011.
