Today was Nick's last Sunday in the Oakbrook ward until he returns home from his mission.
He spoke in Sacrament Mtg. He gave a wonderful talk on the Book of Mormon being the keystone of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Ben and Jacquie sang Called to Serve. And the meeting would not have been complete without the ward tradition of the all priesthood choir singing The Army of Helaman for the closing Song.
We had one of his favorite dinners. Sunday delight or Hawaiian Haystacks.

Awesome! Let us know where you end up as Uncle John has a million relatives in Portland. Get ready for the rain, I hear you will get a lot of it.

Oh my goodness!! I can't believe it! We wish him the best on his mission! We may even run into him sometime...!!
Wow, how time flies. I still can't believe that he and Hannah are old enough to leave home. He looks ready though. I am sure he will be a great missionary.
